I collected this species in two different locations on branches of Vaccinium myrtillus.
Ascomata: immersed, covered by a black clypeus.
Asci: IKI –, apparently unitunicate, 8-spored.
Paraphyses: thread-like.
Ascospores: 14.2–20.2 x 3.2–3.8 µm, 1-septate, hyaline, with a thick gelatinous sheath.
