Hello,today we found in a moist steep decidous for
Peziza

This Peziza was found in a wet woodland.The largest was 5 cm across.
Spores were 19.9 x 11.2 with mostly individual warts but slightly more at the poles.
I could see no yellow milk and the Paraphyses showed no brown pigment in water.
Could this be P depressa?

Je pense qu'il s'agit de Peziza limaea Maas Gesteranus. (Voir planche de dessins)
Je me permets de vous faire remarquer qu'il faut toujours observer les ascospores à partir de sporée, facile à obtenir, notamment à partir de ce genre. Observer des ascospores dans les asques, du fait de leur maturation incomplète, peut conduire à une erreur de détermination ou à une impasse. D'autre part, la structure de la chair est très importante pour la détermination des espèces.

Thanks for that. It certainly looks a good fit. I took a spore drop and the majority of spores were all 9.5 - 10 rather than the 11 + of some of those from the squash.
