We found this Otidea in Cerler days. Under Abies alba and Fagus sylvatica.
I measured 15 spores of a single specimen, I get pretty regular.
SP 12-13 x 6-7 µm. On average 12.5 x 6.5 µm.
I think it is Otidea concinna. What do you think?
Luis
Hola a todos.
Encontramos esta Otidea en las jornadas de Cerler. Bajo Abies alba y Fagus sylvatica.
He medido 15 esporas de un solo ejemplar y me salen bastante regulares.
SP 12-13 x 6-7. De media 12,5 x 6,5.
Creo que se trata de Otidea concinna. ¿Que opináis?
Luis

Re : Otidea concinna
Hi there,
It looks like so in my opinion. The spore size, especially the width (broader than in O. "subconcinna" and O. phlebophora) matches O. concinna. I can´t see in the photo if the outside of the apothecia is smooth, as it should be.
Cheers,
Ibai.

Re : Otidea concinna
It is important to say that the colour of O. concinna is very different in young stage, with sulfurin yellow tinges on the outside. This colour disappears in few days...
