Dear friendsCan you help me to find the descriptio
Hamatocanthoscypha on Osmunda?

On June 5 2026, I collected dead stems and leaves of Osmunda. On the leaves, leaf veines and a few petioles I found very small white, disc- to cup-shaped ascomata (diameter < 270 µm).
The dark basal ring is striking, but it is not a Calycellina because the ectal excipullum is completely covered with short hairs with pointed, glassy, curved or curled tips.
Textura: angularis
Hairs: no reaction in KOH;
Asci: 17-29 x 4-6 µm; with croziers, blue in Lugol's solution;
Paraphyses; cylindrical;
Spore: 4-6 x 1.3-1.9 µm; lacrymoid;
Could this be Hamatocanthoscypha laricionis var. laricionis? The spores and asci are, however, smaller and the substrate is different! Any help would be welcome.
Greetings,
François Bartholomeeusen
