Neodasyscypha cerina?
Zuzana Sochorová (Egertová), 09-11-2013 13:22
Zuzana Sochorová (Egertová)Hello,
here is another asco from Georgia (Caucasus).  Apothecia 0,25 - 0,5 mm broad, rounded, sessile, dark green with a yellow hairy margin.
Spores 4 - 6 x 1,5 - 2 micrometer, hyaline, ellipsoid to ovoid, smooth.
Asci 44 - 54 x 3,8 - 4,5 micrometer, inoperculate, inner ring blue in Melzer, containing 8 ascospores.
Paraphyses hyaline, 1 - 1,5 micrometer broad.
Hairs brown, with granules, 3 - 3,5 micrometer brown.
8. VIII. 2013, Mestia town surroundings, on Corylus wood.
Could it be something else than Neodasyscypha cerina?
In this fungus everything is very small, so it is hard to make the photos.
Z.
