Found on cow dung.
The asci contain 4 spores instead of the normal 8.


 


Fruitbody 480x300 um, neck 90x100 um.



Asci: 341.46-347.19x39.52-45.25 um
Spores: uniseriate; 71.71-81.4375.31x14.88-15.24 um; germ slits slightly oblique bending to diagonal at the septa.

Hi,

yes, it really looks like a 4spored S. megalospora. I have found this species only once on 2200m NN with 8spored asci and similar ascospores.
