Hi,
on a very little piece of wood I found this hairy frb. They were growing near a kind of Lachnum? I think. (that one I'll have to look for)
The measure of the hairs were 315-495 µm. I only found one size of the spore 32x7 µm. It's not much but I could hardly found some more of them.
Is there anyone who has an idea in what genus I have to look for? Thanks for any help ,
Hannie
I think I have to be at the genus Capronia.
Is there someone who knows a key of the genus and can help me with it?
Thanks
Hannie
no, Capronia has very dark, mostly shorter and stiffer hairs. You did not find any asci? I think your collection is an anamorph.
regards,
björn
Hello Björn,
I put it twice under the bino and I Didn't see any asci. These black ones grow with little once as at picture 1. I wonderd if these hairy ones could be an imperfext stadium of the brown ones. Maybe I'm thinking wrong.

I agree with Björn, we are definitely talking anamorph(s) here; I suspect that those distoseptate straw-coloured conidia are not from the long-haired fungus, but are 'strays'. You often can find several fungi within a small area in cases like these.

HELLO cHRIS,
thanks for the explanatiion. So this is the end of the story, I guess?
Best wishes
