Hymenoscyphus?
Garcia Susana, 11-02-2014 13:44
Hi all

Ascomycete that grows on hazel wood
Apothecia up to 800um diameter.
The esporales measures indicated are taken within the asci and a low number.
When stained with IKI, part of excipulo turns blue.

I believe that this may be Hymenoscyphus, but i dont know more.
Any idea? Thanks in advance

Re : Hymenoscyphus?
This is Bisporella subpallida. Isn't 4 µm a bit too much for these spores?

The excipulum should be gelatinized.

Re : Hymenoscyphus?
Hello Zotto
You're right, I re-measured and the average width of these spores is around 3.3um. And excipulo is gelatinized. All agrees, thank you very much.
