I'm looking for an article again, this time:
Boonmee, S.; Zhang, Y.; Chomnunti, P.; Chukeatirote, E.; Tsui, C.K.M.; Bahkali, A.H.; Hyde, K.D. 2011. Revision of lignicolous Tubeufiaceae based on morphological reexamination and phylogenetic analysis. Fungal Diversity. 51:63-102
Maybe someone here has access to this paper?
Best wishes,
Gernot

That was quick, thanks a lot!
By the way, I recently remembered that I sent you a few collections of Acanthostigma cf. septoconstrictum from Austria and Germany a few years ago. Now I was just wondering if you could tell me briefly if you were able to sequence them succesfully or if it was not possible to get to any conclusive result.
Best wishes,
Gernot
Yes, I attempted to sequence one of your three specimens and it turned out to be something in the Ceratosphaeriaceae sensu lato. I will be back in the lab next month and will try the other collections.
Best,
Andy
Thanks again and best wishes,
Gernot
I just wanted to ask if you have any new results regarding the remaining two Acanthostigma collections.
Thank you and best wishes,
Gernot
Yes, I did sequence the 2nd specimen of Acanthostigma septoconstrictum and the results from GenBank are below. The 3rd specimen did not have enough ascomata to sequence. The 1st specimen resulted in a contaminate. These tiny tiny ascomata are difficult to sequence.
BLASTs to Saccharata and Macrophomina in GenBank. 25-Jun-2014 (Eukaryota; Fungi; Dikarya; Ascomycota; Pezizomycotina; Dothideomycetes; Dothideomycetes incertae sedis; Botryosphaeriales;Saccharataceae; Saccharata)
Unfortunately, I am afraid that I am not familiar with Saccharata, but the sequence should have resulted in Acanthostigma.
Best,
Andy
thank you for sharing the results! Too bad neither sequence has resulted in Acanthostigma.
Best wishes,
Gernot
