Gilles CorriolEt un petit dernier, sur tige de Phragmites australis, en roselière.

Apothécies crème-blanchâtre ayant tendance à jaunir en séchant.
Spores 16,6-21,4 x 3,9-4,7 µm.
Asques non bouclés, bisériés, IKI bleu-gris à l'apex.
Paraphyses à nombreuses gouttes réfringentes.
Textura angularis.

Il faut mieux attendre à la réaction du maître, mais j'ai l'impression qu'on a à faire avec Hymenoscyphus phalaridis Baral nom. prov.

This is my new species Hymenosc. phalaridis (still unpublished). I thought it is restricted to Phalaris but some of the samples I saw are unidentified larger Poaceae. Is it 100% sure with Phragmites?

Are you  sure with the spore width? I guess they are only 3.5 µm wide as a maximum. Have you photos with scale? You can send me by mail for a closer look. Also I would like to note the collection data in order to cite the sample.

The species  is not really rare, and who knows whether a badly described taxon exists...

Phragmites australis 100 % sure as the substrate. See picture of habitat where collected joined.
I also add the detail of spores mesurment.
