Unknown asco on horse dung
Joop van der Lee, 10-12-2014 00:10
Joop van der LeeI have reported this species earlier but had no suffisient information.
Found the species again today with more infro and a better photo of the fruitbody.
Asci: 8-spored; apex closed with a single ring; asci expand when in contact with water.
Spores: single body when young developing a pedicel at first 52-55 um; later 47-51 um; finally a single spore head 23.5-26.5x12.5-14.5 um with one septa; pedicel 22-23. 5x5-6 um.
Spores do have an upper cauda and a secondary cauda at the distal end of the pedicel.
