Cosmospora rishbethii?
Garcia Susana, 15-12-2014 10:28
Hi all

I found this ascomycete on a sprig of Pinus sylvestris.
Looking at the literature and keys that I have, I get to Cosmospora rishbethii, but do not know if the determination is correct, I do not have a description of the species.
Can anyone help in determining.
Thanks in advance

regards
Susana

I fear that without a culture and molecular work this identification cannot be confirmed. Best wiishes  Walter

Re : Cosmospora rishbethii?
Have you ever managed to tentaively identify this Cosmospora please? I have something closely related.  I found mine on choped trunks and might have been Pinus halapensis but maybe Prunus dulcis too.

Hola Stephen,

No hice ningún cultivo ni estudio posterior, por lo tanto quedo sin identificar.
