Hello, I found this very small (ca 0,5mm) yellow
Sarea resinae 101112 111

Good nightI think this orange 1-1,5 mm discs on resin in the bark of a live trunk of Pinus canariensis is Sarea resinae, more than S. difformis.
Asci cylindrical-sacciformis, plenty of small globose spores, I suppose more than 128, completly blue in IKI.
Spores globose, (1.7) 2.2 - 2.8 (3.0) x (1.6) 2.1 - 2.7 (2.9) µm; Q = 1.0 - 1.1 (1.2); N = 61; Me = 2.5 x 2.4 µm ; Qe = 1.0
Paraphysis cylindrical, with small guttules, agglutinated at top with a dark-yellow substance.
Thank you for your help.

Re : Sarea resinae 101112 111
This is S. resinae, quite common on spruce in Canada although I haven't found the anamorph. I should have some pictures somewhere...

Hi all,
here a collage of the two known Sarea- species. In our country are both species not rare on old blackening resin, although to see S. difformis very difficult. S. difformis we found only on resin of Picea abies, S. resinae on Larix decidua, Picea abies and Pinus sylvestris, here conigenous too.
Greetings
Peter.

Here oncemore two fotos from Sarea resinae. About which it itself with the filiform things acts I dont know, had no occasion to microscope. Under Sarea resinae in the database is in my opinion a Lachnellula- species, for example we found on resin L. subtilissima too.
Greetings
Peter.
