Dear collegues,
in our project about decaying of dead wood we found recently here and there a species of Chaetosphaeria, but we have no ideas how to determine the species.
Can someone give us hints on which characters are imprtant?
Has anyone the monography of REBLOVA (2000): The genus Chaetosphaeria and its anamorphs. Stud Mycol 45:149–168

Knowing the asexual state (often present among the sexual state) of your Chaetosphaeria will likely be crucial or identification.

la plupart des Chaetosphaeri sont impossibles à identifier sans l'anamorphe, de préference obtenu en culture.
Ca ne t'empêche pas d'essayer!

Leider kann ich keine Anamorphe finden ....
Aufgrund der reif nur 1fach septierten Sporen, die 8-9 x 3-4 µm groß sind, käme nach REBLOVA 2000 aber nur Chaetosphaeria brevispora in Frage. Alle anderen 1fach septierten Arten haben längere oder schmälere Sporen.

Je n'ai pas d'anamorph, mais si je compare toutes les donnés pour les ascospores, seul Ch. brevispora possède des spores 8-9 x 3-4 µm, avec 0-1 cloison. Toutes les autres espèces ont des spores plus large ou plus longue - ou pluriseptées
