Hi to everybodyThese thiny, blackish pseudothecia
(1) Ascomycete on Juniperus wood - http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_forum/37442
(2) Another ascomycete on Juniperus wood - http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_forum/37660
The main difference between the two were the spore septation: 1-septate in (1) and 3-septate in (2).
Returning to the place of these finds, I encountered again many specimens with the same features than (1). The ontogeny of the spores is very characteristic and reminds me those in the lichen genus Rinodina, thought these are not lichenized. I attach some photos. Any hint about the classification will be welcome.
Some data:
- All part negative in lugol;
- Asci 8 spored with dimensions up to : 93 x 15 µm;
- Spores first hyaline, soon grey-brown, 1-septate of "Rinodina-type" with dimensions:
(14.2) 14.7 - 15.9 (16.4) × (7.1) 7.5 - 9.2 (10.1) µm
Q = (1.6) 1.7 - 2.1 (2.2) ; N = 30; Me = 15.3 × 8.1 µm ; Qe = 1.9.
Thanks in advance,
zaca
