Hola a todos.


Subo unas fotos de un asco que hemos encontrado hoy sobre hojas de Crataegus monogyna.


Miden hasta 2 mm de diámetro.


Esporas de 10-17 x 3,5-4,2 micras.


Ascas amiloides, pleurorrincas.


Pensé en alguna especie de Hyaloscypha, ¿Qué les parece?

Según su opinión, ¿El género podría ser Hyaloscypha o bien Urceolella, como nos comentó Luis?

I placed your sample in Urceolella juniperi = U. conspicua. I think it fits well there. If you treat the hairs with KOH by shortly boiling the slide, the glass should disappear (character of Urceolella). At the moment I have it in my Hyalopeziza folder, though.

Oh yes!

I am, very interested indeed. I have no personal experience of U. juniperi / conspicua, but the general (wet, soft, fleshy) appearence is of Urceolella. "Pelos" are awesome. I'll sequence a few genes, so we don't need to guess.

How was the collection? Maybe you should send the material dry and if there is ample material also small part also fresh.
