I would need some help with this fungus, found on a stick of wood.
spores caudate, body with up to 5 septa 44 X7 (42.8-48.1 x 6.4-7.8)
Thanks you.
Greetings

Please, look at Rebentischia genus.
Alain
I was measuring the "tail", and I realize I shoudn't, is that right? Being so, the spore lenght is ± 24, and I could call it Rebentischia unicaudata, do you agree?
You have the answer :
3a. Basal cell up to 15 ?m long. Ascospores 4-septate, 17–30 × 4–7.5 ?m.
On stems of shrubs and vines . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .R. unicaudata
3b. Basal cell up to 24 ?m long. Ascospores 4–5-septate, 22–40 × 6–10.5 ?m.
On woody branches or trunks . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . R. massalongii
You said : body with up to 5 septa 44 X7 (42.8-48.1 x 6.4-7.8) so it's ok for R. massalongii.
