Le genre Hymenoscyphus au sens large est très diversifié.
Plusieurs espèces de ce genre semblent mieux se classer dans les Phaeohelotium.
Qu'est-ce qui permet de séparer ces deux genres, donc de savoir quelles espèces se rapprochent plus du second ?
Une histoire d'excipulum je suppose ?

This is very difficult to answer and still unsettled. Possibly there need to be further genera separated from the core, such as Cudoniella (including some "Phaeohelotium"), a genus for Hymenoscyphus menthae, and so on.....
The consistently short stipe is a good character of Phaeohelotium.
