Re : Orbilia sur Ganoderma
Bonjour Patrice!
This is Hyalorbilia ulicicola which may also occur in masses on pores of Ganoderma indeed. We have 3 recoltes from atlantic France.
Let me know the data, please

Re : Orbilia sur Ganoderma
I was looking for genus Orbilia. But it is true that there is a resemblance with H. inflatula, a species that I had eliminated.
Thanks you very much.

Re : Orbilia sur Ganoderma
Thanks! How must I understand the growth, is the Ganoderma with the pores downwards and still on a trunk? Or on a fallen log? The Ganoderma species is unidentified? How large are the apos?

Re : Orbilia sur Ganoderma
Ganoderma was on the ground, unhooked from the tree, pores upwards.
Ganoderma australe (syn. G. adspersum) or G. lipsiense (syn. G. applanatum).
Apos 0,5-2 mm.

Re : Orbilia sur Ganoderma
unhooked means detached?
Is it not dry at present so that the apos dry out when facing upwards? Perhaps it is a shady and boggy place?
Is Ganoderma australe actually the correct name for adspersum? And do you favour one of the two species?

Re : Orbilia sur Ganoderma
Yes, detached !
Yes it is a shady and boggy place. I think this Ganoderma was detached for several months (perhaps one year), and I think G. australe because it is still hard.
Bernicchia & Gorjon : G. australe (syn. G. adspersum)
Ryvarden & Melo, Poroid fungi of Europe 2nd edition (2017), Ganoderma australe syn. Polyporus adspersus.
