Lamprospora sp?
Georges Greiff, 07-12-2018 20:39
A second fungus found on bryophytes in chalk grassland.

Apothecia <2mm, orange, margin present, membranaceous. Found among Tortula modica, Microbryum spp (Pottiaceae) and Dicranella varia all growing together on chalky soil.

Asci 171.6 x 20.8, 8-spored. Paraphyses 5.5 wide, pigmented. Ascospores hyaline, spherical / sub-spherical, 15.6 x 16.9 approx, ridge ornamentation prominent.

I have arrived at L. dictydiola for this species but the host is not Tortula muralis.

Any feedback appreciated.

Georges

Re : Lamprospora sp?
Voir peut-être du côté de Lamprospora miniata.

Thanks, Gilbert. L. miniata looks good.
