Ascobolus

I don't find an Ascobolus with so big sporal measurements and this macro characters. I haven't enough information about this genus. Growing in cow dung. Yellow-green, 2-3 mm.

Medidas esporales / Sporal measurements:
38.4 [40.9 ; 41.5] 44 x 16.3 [17.8 ; 18.2] 19.7
Q = 2.1 [2.3 ; 2.3] 2.5 ; N = 86 ; C = 95%
Me = 41.24 x 18.03 ; Qe = 2.

Thanks,

Re:Ascobolus
Hello Miguel
amicales salutations

Re:Ascobolus
Hi Alain

A friend of mine have "A world monograph of the genera Ascobolus and Saccobolus" where the sporal measurements for Ascobolus furfuraceus is 10-50 (90) x 10 - 30 (60) µm, so in this case it is better to follow the macro and another micro characters different to the sporal measurement.

Thank you,

Re:Ascobolus
Cher Miguel,

Amicales salutations.

Re:Ascobolus
Hi again Alain

I haven't that paper and no more information about A. semivestitus, only the one in the keys of A world monograph of the genera Ascobolus and Saccobolus, that says "Receptacle in the upper part smooth, yellowish-green, in the lowe part densely white-villose (not observed). Ascospores normally 25-30 x 13-14 µm, but also considerable larger 45-50 x 18-24 µm"

Could yo send me any more?

Thanks,
