Chloroscypha seaveri ? on Thuja leaves - Denmark V. 2019
Thomas Læssøe, 22-05-2019 18:10
I have encountered scanty materiale of a tiny (!) discomycete on decaying Thuja leaves in the company of Pestaloptis (fc.) funerea and an indet. thyriotheciod/apiosporous ascomycote (https://svampe.databasen.org/observations/10013764). The discomycete is macroscopicaly blackish and short stipitate but dark olive in water. The spores tend to have an acute apendix. Tjhe Petrini key leads to C. seaveri.

See: https://svampe.databasen.org/observations/10013758

cheers

So you did not see any asci? Iodine reaction? Seems rather overmature.

This sporal morphology reminds me very much of Chloroscypha sabinae, which must have asci IKI negative.

I did not get any clear iodine reaction so presumably negative. Lowest image
