i need some help with thi hyphomycete
Angel Pintos, 05-09-2019 21:17
Angel PintosHello everyone, I need help with this hyphomycete, at first I thought it were crystals, but when I looked closely I saw that it rise and grow from the hyphae seen in the images.
Growing on grasses.
Thanks for your cooperation

Best wishes

Angel

Clearly these are crystals, presumably calcium oxalate. In the medulla of some Helotiales they occur and look like this.

Thank you very much, that was my first thought, but I was confused to see it emerge from the hyphae, I had never seen the crystals like that.

Thanks
