This small cup (1-2mm) was found fruiting from a hardwood stick on the forest floor.  Pennsylvania, USA. Spores ~18.5 x 4.3.  IKI +.  I could not see if it had croziers. Paraphyses look filiform. Spores resemble Hymenoscyphus, but they look dead.  Maybe H. virgultorum?

Yes, everything is dead, and it is a Hymenoscyphus. The substrate looks herbaceous. Perhaps from the vicinity of H. scutula.
