can I call this H. fucatus H-, or are the spores still too short? Only one spore had 2 very short setulae, others without. VBs medium refractive. On Rubus fruticosus stem.

Very difficult to answer! I would still consider H. scutula, despite the absence of long setulae. A difficult case, particularly since we know almost nothing about genetics in H. scutula.
Oh, I must correct myself, I had a wrong remembering, here is an ITS tree showing the true scutula in green and some other genotypes.
