Chris Yeates,

Bonsoir tous
I am fairly certain with this, but would welcome confirmation.
Collected on fallen Salix twigs (caprea/cinerea) in a seasonally wet area (Orbilia sarraziniana and the anamorph of Bulbillomyces farinosus also in the vicinity). Apothecia short-stemmed; asci IKI+ and with croziers, paraphyses multi-guttulate, spores 15.9-18.2 x 4.6-5.3µm.
Amitiés Chris

Re : Hymenoscyphus subferrugineus?
Hi Chris
I agree, the multiguttulate pattern in the spores is characteristic, athough larger LBs as in this ample may occur.
It is a genetically very defined species, in contrast to H. calyculus which is still very difficult to handle and morphologically rather similar.
I would be pleased to include your sample in my manuscript together with the collection data.
