Poils marginaux lancéolés à paroi simple. 50-55 x 3-4,5 µm
Asques crochets+, IKI-
Paraphyses culindriques.
Spores 5,7-7,1 x 1,8-3,1 µm

H. hyalina is a nomen dubium, it was not accepted by Huhtinen.
When inamyloid this could be H. quercicola.
