Hello,

Found 08-10-2021, on soil. Discovered while I was taking pictures of Aleuria aurantia.

Is this Ombrophila violacea?

Spore sizes: (6.2)6.5-7.3(8.1) x (3.2)3.3-3.6(3.7) µm

Me: 6.9 x 3.5 µm   Q = 2

Greetings, Riet

Re : Ombrophila violacea?
The resolution is very low, but what I see is that the apical ring would fit. Also the spores look o.k., as do the VBs in the paraphyses. I assume the medulla was strongly gelatinized. Also I see crystals. Unusual is the growth on soil, is there some organic matter?

Re : Ombrophila violacea?
They seem to grow on sand between the remnants (or roots?) of a tree, the medulla was strongly gelatinized.

Re : Ombrophila violacea?
O.k. It is possible that O. violacea is not only one species but a clue for a differentiation I do not have, maybe variability.
