Mollisia on Vaccinium leaf
Juuso Äikäs, 25-06-2022 17:35
I found some little gray Mollisias growing on a dead leaf of Vaccinium vitis-idaea at the edge of a bog.

Paraphyses and margin cells with VBs, asci with croziers, IKI+(bb). KOH negative.

Spores: 8.9 - 10.8 × 2.3 - 2.4 µm, OCI = 0 - 0.5.

Seems a bit vapid, but can anything be said about the species?

Re : Mollisia on Vaccinium leaf
I fear I am unable to help. M. rabenhorstii on Quercus leaves might be considered but there probably exist several species on leaves.
