Des périthèces immergés assez denses laissant apparaître un petit ostiole compressé latéralement (en comparaison 3 fois plus petit que compressum). Tous les airs d'un Lophiostoma, si ce n'est que les spores sont plutôt hyalines. Pas d'appendices ou de gaine observées. Ces spores sont 6-7 cloisonnées et mesurent 34-37 x 5-6 µm..
Si ce n'était le substrat, ces spores m'auraient fait penser à celles d'un Massariosphaeria. Mais pour l'instant j'en reste au genre Lophiotrema, sans trop savoir où continuer mes recherches. Help !
