Periconia sp. ?
Carmel Sammut, 25-11-2022 08:43
Looking through my unidentified specimens I came across a collection made in 2016 on a wilted leaf from an unidentified grass (possibly a Phalarissp.).

The anamorph colonies were about 1mm in length.

Conidiophores 200-500 x 6-9 µm, brownish with paler terminal cell, thick walled and septate.

Conidia 9-13 µm globose, initially pale and smooth but later brownish and verrucose.

On re-examination I suspect this is a species of Periconia, perhaps close to P. hispidula.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
