Coccomyces sp
Nogueira Héctor, 30-10-2023 01:59
Argañoso (León) SPAIN at 1200 m altitude, on an oak leaf, new to me.
Specimen of just over 1 mm. Meltzer negative in apex ascus .
Spores measured in water:
(49.1) 51.9 - 75.5 (76.5) × (1.7) 2 - 3 (3.3) µm
Q = (17.3) 20.6 - 31.9 (37.3) ; N = 23
Me = 65.6 × 2.6 µm; Qe = 26.3
I don't know if you can know the species
Thanks and regards

Re : Coccomyces sp
New observation of another smaller specimen on the same leaf, in case it helps. No reaction is seen in 3% KOH
