Andgelo MombertBonjour,

Est-ce que Myriosclerotinia sulcata est synonyme de M. sulcatula ?
Merci d'avance !

Re : Myriosclerotinia
yes, Schumacher & Kohn described a new species because of Sclerotinia sulcata Whetzel 1946 being illegitimate because a later homonym of Sclerotinia sulcata (Desm.) Whetzel 1929, which in turn is invalid (no latin diagnosis).

So because the name sulcata was invalidly published and has never been validated, S&K chose to create a new name which was perhaps not really necessary.
