This ascomycete was found on deer droppings.
One ascus with >1000 spores.
We think Thelebolus and with the key of Ellis&Ellis T. stercoreus.
The only thing that is wrong is the ascus size, which should be250 x 150 µ , we measure 348 x 282µ in water.
Spore size measured in water 5.6 - 6.2 × (3.2) 3.3 - 3.6 µm
Is this something different?
