Scutellinia umbrarum?
Villalonga Paco, 08-07-2024 23:34
Small Scutellinia growing in garden soil (calcareous) at 200 m elevation, Castellon, Spain

Spores:

(15.7) 16.2 - 19.2 (20.1) × (11) 11.7 - 13.8 (14.9) µm
Q = (1.3) 1.32 - 1.5 (1.6) ; N = 25
Me = 17.6 × 12.5 µm ; Qe = 1.4

Warts around 2 um wide

Hairs:

Twisted and irregular

190.7 - 313.6 long

17 - 26 wide

Walls 3.75 - 5.5

4 - 6 septa

Considering S. pseudoumbrarum but spore decoration looks too thick.  Maybe S. umbranum?

Re : Scutellinia umbrarum?
We need to see the ornamentation more clearly to be sure, ideally in LCB

Re : Scutellinia umbrarum?
Agree with Mal, we need to see the ascospore ornamentation in cotton clue.
The sporez size seems a bit smaller than usual size of S. umbrorum

Re : Scutellinia umbrarum?
Hope these are better, last one in LB.

I need to upgrade my objective.

Re : Scutellinia umbrarum?
Sorry Villalonga
These are still not clear enough to give a definitive id.
This photo shows the sort of clarity we are looking for.
