Hi, Andgelo!
I am quite sure that my collection does indeed represent this species, yes. Nice that you found it in France as well now.
Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Caesiodiscus populicola
I would be glad to see links to these samples. From Enrique I have photos of what is at least the same genus, as I now see. I have it under Ostropalean, ERD-7793, Molinillo (Salamanca), 24-XII-2018, on Eucalyptus camaldulensis. But the dead asci are much longer (200-225 x 12-14) and the living spores broader (26-28 x 13-14) than in the protologue. The docu is in my folder Ostropomycetidae, Caesiodiscus.

Hello Zotto,
Ascospores : 21-27,7 x 9-10,7 µm. Peu de spores éjectées.
Asques vivants : 140-157 x 11-15 µm.

Re : Caesiodiscus populicola
Superb, but plase check your scale: I measure 17-21 x 8-9 µm. perhaps you measured free spores?

Re : Caesiodiscus populicola
o.k., this is about 27 x 11, so spore size is quite variable.
