Michel

Re : A Durella like species on decorticated wood
Hi Michel
Interesting find! I think it is a Mollisia. In my folder velebitica aff. IKI- 9-12.5 x 3.5-4.5 old 1-sept conif+Salix bark I see some similarity.

Re : A Durella like species on decorticated wood
Merci Zotto.
My collection has indeed similarities with the Mollisia velebitica aff. in your folder, I. E. the IKI negative ascus tips , spore shape with low guttulation and glycogene patches turning red in IKI. Also the globose textura ectal.
Ejected living spores are not septate but for very few looking overmature and paraphyses are all capitate to lanceolate, which made me reject Mollisia though the paraphyses content matches this genus.
No KOH reaction
I cannot be sure about the wook collected in a marsh in Brittany with mostly Salix and Quercus spp. Michel
