I found this interesting reddish Helotiales growing on an herbaceous stem. They've been sitting in my fridge since October/November 2024, so they might be dead—but the color has remained the same.Younger specimens also had a little yellow/creme color to them, and the red tinge became more pronounced as they matured.
Asci: 74.96–87.34 × 7.97–8.6 µm (IKI+)
Spores: 17.33–20.49 × 4.07–4.5 µm

Hard to say. I think the paraphyse were multiguttulate above, I see guttules (probably VBs) in the excipular cells. The brown colour is probably a secondary effect from the VBs, but I see no distinctly brown cell contents. The apical ring should be of the Hymenoscyphus-type (not sure) and the spores look somewhat scutuloid. Maybe a species in the surroundings of H. scutula.
