Three images this time.  No microscopy.  Location is India.  Also posted here:

Would sure like to see some of you fine folks over in our little digital corner of the fungal taxonomy world (Mushroom Observer, that is).  A crying shame how many little ascos go overlooked and buried.

Thanks again in advance,

-Danny

Re : Another macro ID
Hi Danny,

I would go for an unmature Nidulariaceae (overview and literature here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nidulariaceae?
and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cyathus_species?

By the way, no Asco but Gasteromycetes.

Regards

Martin

Re : Another macro ID
Thanks, Martin.  That was indeed one consideration.  Good to hear it from an asco authority.
