Literature request: Saccobolus minimoides
Norbert Heine, 31-05-2012 15:06
Norbert HeineDear friends,

it seems that Saccobolus minimoides Prokhorov is a rare species and nobody has written about, since:

Prokhorov, V.P.; Raitviir, A. (1991). New or interesting species of Ascobolus and Saccobolus in the USSR. Cryptogamic Botany 2 (2-3): 205-213. ?

This paper I'm looking for. If somebody could help me, I'd be very happy.

Or does one of you know this species and could send me some notes?

I found this very small species yesterday on roe deer dung, but I only have the Doveri key to determine and no description to compare.

Best regards

Norbert

Molte grazie, Gabriele!

My measurements are nearly the same as in the original description, so there is no doubt about Saccobolus minimoides.

Maybe the first find in Germany!
