Philippe PELLICIERBonjour, pensez-vous que S. ceijpii soit le nom co

I found this Diaporthe last week, growing on dead stems of Vaccinium myrtillus.
Asci: 45 - 55 x 6 - 7 µm
Spores: 11 - 15 x 3 - 4 µm, some with faint appendages, difficult to see on the pictures.
In the literature and on Internet I can't find any Diaporthe growing on Vaccinium myrtillus (except Diaporthe vaccinii, but that's restricted to cultivated Vaccinium species).
I hope someone can help me (maybe are the photo's a good help).
Regards,
Piet Bormans
Hi Piet,
I think that it could be Diaporthe eres, a polymorphous species.
I just check a new record on Buxus. It's similar.
On Vaccinium, why not ?
Alain

Hello Alain,
Maybe you're right.
Thank you.
