 Collected on bark of Salix cinerea:
Ascomata in small clusters of 4-8, ovoid, papillate, 0,35-0,4 mm diam., carmine red all over, almost black in KOH 10%, roughened, partly covered by whitish hyphae; in company of coniomata composed of orange droplets with whitish, striate stalk up to 1,5 mm high. Asci cylindrical, 8-sp., spores 1-seriate, 106x11,5 µm. Spores ellipsoid, 15-16x6-7(8) µm, 1-septate, slightly constricted at the septum, finely verruculose, hyaline, with several guttules per cell. Ectal excipulum with outer layer composed of reddish brown texture angularis.
Conidia almost straight to falcate, 78-103x5-5,5 µm, 2-9-septate, end cells longer than the other ones, filled with minute guttules, smooth, hyaline.

Hi Bernard,
could you make a simple vertical section through a group of ascomata to see if there is a stroma, pyrenomycetes or sporodochium under the ascomata?

ok Bernard, maintenant peux-tu montrer ce que donne ce "stroma" au microscope? une coupe même quelque peu grossière peut suffir.
C'est très important pour arriver au genre.

Bonjour Christian,
Voici une coupe du "stroma" blanc-jaune. Structure ?angulaire et incrustrée, avec à l'extérieur des hyphes incrustrées 6 µm diam.
Les spores deviennent brunâtre et 15-18(19)x6-8 µm.

difficile à dire, c'est peut-être un Geejayessia mais pour le savoir il faudrait l'étudier plus en détails.
