Pezicula on Prunus spinosa
Enrique Rubio, 20-12-2016 17:06
Enrique RubioHi to everybody
This Pezicula with erumpent stromata with yellowish-cinnamon pruinose KOH-inert ascomata with 8-spored asci, was found growing on bark of Prunus spinosa.
Many keys redirect me to Pezicula pruinosa, although Amelanchier was not the host. Have you some aid for me?
Thanks again

Re : Pezicula on Prunus spinosa
Salut Enrique,

une variété pruni de Pezicula pruinosa sur Prunus cerasifera est décrite dans
JOHANSEN G. 1949 The Danish species of the discomycet genus Pezicula. Dansk Botanisk Arkiv 13 (3) : 1-26.

Si tu n'as pas cette publication, je peux te l'envoyer.

Amitiés, Guy

Re : Pezicula on Prunus spinosa
Despite the rather short spores I think this is best included in P. cinnamomea.

Hola Enrique,

muchas gracias!

It is always good to share the files with everyone - because sometimes for instance I (and likely much more readers) think it is to much what I request. This way, I can take the paper without having asked :

Best regards, Lothar

Hi Lothar
The problem always lies in copyright. However, I don't think it's too risky to share articles for the sole purpose of promoting knowledge.
