we found these species 2x on mouse dung, 1x on fox. With BRUMM. 1967 the described Saccoboulus geminatus can be named. The apothecies are to o,4 mm and max. 0.3 mm high, white, a little bit convex. They grow separately, on fox in small groups.
The species seems to be confessed a little, in our of accessible literature we find only with BRUMM. 1967. If somebody also knows this species and gives it perhaps other literature ?
Greetings Peter.

Re : Saccobolus geminatus ?
Hello Peter!
Nice find, I also have no description other than V. Brummelen, but I think you're right with S.geminatus which seems to fit the description. S. dilutellus and S.aglaosporus are close but some measures do not match.
Michel.

Hello Peter,
one year ago I asked for the same species, but unfortunately there was no aswer, because nobody seems to know this fungus.
You can read it here:
http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_forum/41631
There was also a detailed discussion in Pilzforum.eu.

I was not sure about the species, now I am.
Great, that you have found this species too! Congratulations!
