Two days ago I found this interesting eutypoid fungus growing on ?possibly Alnus, or other similar thin twig of broadleaf shrub.
It has obviously protuding necks (up to 10 per protrusion) up to 1.7 x 0.3 mm in size. Asci (55-)-80-90 x (8-)10-13 µm, Spores ca 13.5-14.5(-17) x 3-3.5(-4) µm, fainly septate, small guttulate.

I have checked Wehmeyer's monograph  (1933), and as under Melzer's reagent there is an apical annulus seen; spores are sometimes curved to slightly inequilateral, faintly septate, it seems to be close to Cryptodiaporthe hystrix on Acer, Alnus viridis (long-fusiform spores), and C. hranicensis (if grown on Tilia).

Hi, Peter!
Interesting proposal, but the substratum seems to be dry twig of Alnus.
The beaks ale elongate and somewhat flattened, spores are mostly 2.5-3(-4) µm 
wide.
Cryptodiaporthe hystrix (=Apiognomonia hystrix, according to Sogonov et al. 2008, Stud. in Mycol.).
