Hi all,
I encountered this yesterday and think it is Bryocentria brongniartii. After rain I examined dead-looking patches of liverworts on trees and noticed these orange perithecia on Frullania dilatata. They are tiny, around 0.2mm diameter and somewhat immersed in the lobes of the host.
Asci: 44.2 x 5.2, 8-spored. Paraphyses seem variable but had moving molecules inside them. Ascospores 6.5 x 2, constricted at faint septum. Hyphae noted within cells.
This seems to be rare / overlooked in the UK with two records on NBN. Found on Isle of Wight, S England.

Your identification looks exactly right. You have very sharp eyes! If the collection is large enough, a piece for Kew would be much appreciated.
Best wishes
Paul
