Hello,

Found by Willy Heimeriks, April 2019, The Netherlands, on Sambucus.

Is Gibberella pulicaris correct?

It took a lot of effort to find asci with spores.
I think I also see the macroconidia belonging to this species, but if I'm right ......
Spores (immature): 17.6-18.6-19.7-20.9 x 7.1-8.4-8.9-9.3 µm
Macroconidia: 22.6-27.9-32.6-32.9 x 4.1-4.4 µm

Greetings, Riet

Re : Gibberella pulicaris
Yes, the bluish perithecia (in transmitted light) are typical for the genus.
Often packed in small groups.
