I know such conidia also, and I have the name Berkleasmium. Mine are from Australia on Acacia wood and show a ionomidotic reaction (orange-red when adding KOH). See my Hyphomycetes folder.
Ethan Crenson had one from Vermont and suggested Berkleasmium conglobatum.
