Could you please clarify if coniferous or not? How large are the apos?
The iodine reaction is rather faint. Did you also check in Lugol? This and the croziers excludes Phalohelotium fulvidulum, but it could be of this group of species.
My subfolder "griseobrunneum ~amyloid H+" might come closest though the excipulum tends to be brownish. You find it in the folder Phaeohelotium monticola group.

I got the impression that it's hardwood, but I'm not sure. The biggest apos were about 3mm in diameter. I don't unfortunately have any Lugol.

Hardwood is easy to verify, you only need a cross section and view either under a handlens (20x) or larger.
