A week ago I found this Asco on a presumed beech branch.
Could this be Dematioscypha delicata?

ich denke schon. D. olivacea hat keine Haken und D. richonis ist rötlich.

Ich habe den Namen D. delicata nie gehört und weil mich der Pilz an D. dematiicola erinnerte, schlug ich im Index of Fungi nach. Delicata ist dort ein Synonym von Dematiicola. Oder sind das 2 verschiedene?

Seit 1Pilz-1Name hat man eben auch diesen Pilz umbenannt. Haplographium delicatum war der ältere Name (1859), dematiicola ist von 1865. Wieso Hosoya aber nicht Haplographium beließ als Name für die Holomorphe, weiß ich gerade auch nicht.

Wundert mich nur, dass im Index trotz dieser Priorität dematiicola als gülitig stehen bleibt.


Nun ja - wird nicht der einzige Fehler sein ..

ich lese eben in Johnston et al. 2014: Haplographium war sehr heterogen, die Arten wurden verteilt auf diverse andere Gattungen. Selbst H. delicatum wurde mit einer nicht näher verwandten Art verwechselt. Übrig blieben nur drei sichere Haplographium-Arten. Da Dematioscypha ein viel gebrauchter und eindeutiger Name ist, hat man ihn zum Schutz gegen Haplographium vorgeschlagen.
